Disneyland Vacation

Well, I just got back from vacation. We went to Disneyland and it was great fun! My daughter had a blast. I took my mom with us for her Christmas and birthday gift. We were there for 5 days and i'm ready to go back.

I'm going to have to save LOTS of money and make that trip to Disney World! I think I walked about 20 miles the week we were there, my legs got a bit sore but I'm thinking that's due to my lack of exercising. My thought of exercising is going back and forth to starbucks .... LOL just kidding, but I do need to walk more. Maybe that will be my new years resolution...... well here are a few Pics of my daughter with some of the Disney princesses ..... (I can't believe how much Snow White looks like the one in the cartoon .... amazing)

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

I can't believe how fast the year has past, I was in my scrapbook room trying to decided about Christmas cards and what I was going to make, this is what I came up with, but I was thinking that I would make a few more and then decide ... so stay tuned over the next few days to see what else I have created!

Tis the Season!

Well the holidays are here and it's time to get into the hussle and bussle of it all, well maybe. I usually try to buy all year long so I don't have to be in the mix of the pushing and shoving of it all. I worked Black Friday, but that didn't stop the hundreds of people trying to get the best deals, the factory stores were I live opened at MIDNIGHT, yep I said midnight and the parking lots were full (I was on my way to work and passed right by them). Driving through Concord Ca, I saw that Best Buy had a line around the building ..... Well once I got home, I was able to relax and rest (ok, I raked up some leaves) but I was also able to make some orniments for the tree and a few cards ......... I embossed the tree and the orniment snow flake and added some glitter. I used the old napkin trick on the second card and some glitter on on it, the first one is a clear sticker that I laid over some paper cut out, I did the same thing with the present. enjoy!

Thanksgiving

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, this year has gone by so fast. It's like I blinked and the year is almost over .... Here are 2 cards that I made this morning, one is the Shadow Box card (I got the idea from Dawn at Dawns Stamping Thoughts, Thanks for the great idea!). The other card I made by using a Thanksgiving napkin I got from Hallmark and some scrap sticky spray. They both were fun and easy to do ....

I'm Back (again)

Ok, well it's been a while since I have posted, but I'm going to try and post a new creation at least 2 times a week, I think that's a good goal for me at least. Here is a card that I made for my daughters teachers birthday, I took some Pink Satin ribbon and a rub on and rubbed it onto the pink ribbon. Enjoy, it's good to be back on line .....:)

Blah, Blah, Blah

Well due to my awesome computer skills, I somehow deleted my McAfee security and managed to discomboobalate my SBC account, so I can't post anything to my site, but hang in there, I'll be up and running very soon. Ya can't keep a good girl down for long, I have to make a trip back to the computer guy, i'm sure they are lovin me right now and all the money that I'm putting out.... grrr!

Did someone say Shoes?

So with Bosses day tomorrow, I decided to make my boss a little something, She loves shoes, so I made a candy shoe, that's right, a Candy shoe .. I also made one for Halloween, I love making this shoe, it's so cute!

Boo

It's a short post today, but here's a card that I made for my friend Ben for Halloween, actually I'm in the process of making some cookies to send to him. Ohhh my house smells so yummy!
